Job summary

EY is seeking an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows and administer 1Kosmos and Microsoft Verified ID platforms. The role includes configuring verification, biometrics, liveness detection, and enforcing IAL2-grade proofing per NIST 800-63, while supporting onboarding for employees, contractors, and privileged users.

You will integrate 1Kosmos with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, IdRamp, CLEAR, and other IAM services, plus develop API-based integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, information security, information systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in IAM.
• 2+ years hands-on 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementation.
• Experience implementing identity proofing, passwordless authentication, and biometric verification.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID platforms.
• Configure and support verification, biometric authentication, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity controls.
• Implement IAL2-grade identity proofing per NIST 800-63.
• Support onboarding journeys for employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field
