Job summary

Beast Industries is seeking an Identity Platform Engineer to own and extend our centralized identity stack across Step and the Beast ecosystem. You will design automated joiner/mover/leaver flows, implement SSO and SCIM for hundreds of SaaS apps, and maintain dual‑instance boundaries to keep regulated fintech systems isolated.

This role anchors the West Coast from the San Mateo office, four days a week, with on‑site collaboration and escalation duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems, identity, or infrastructure engineering with hands-on Okta administration.
• Experience automating identity workflows and provisioning.
• Proven federation experience with SAML, OIDC/OAuth, SCIM.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate joiner/mover/leaver workflows driven by HRIS events.
• Onboard and manage apps with SSO/SCIM coverage across hundreds of SaaS apps.
• Develop and maintain identity automation within dual-instance fintech architecture.
• Serve as the on-site IT face for the West Coast, including Step integration.
