Job summary

KNOLLWOOD - CORPORATE OFFICE is seeking an experienced IT Security & Infrastructure Engineer to lead security hardening, AD and Microsoft 365 configurations, and vulnerability remediation for the Bloomingdale, IL campus.

You will implement CIS benchmarks, Conditional Access and MFA, manage patching and DR readiness, oversee PAM/PIM and least-privilege models, and collaborate with IT Security, Network Engineering, and Operations to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or security engineering.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, Security+).
• Strong knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Benchmarks, and ISO 27001/27002.
• Experience reviewing and remediating security findings from vulnerability scans or audits.
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead security hardening across Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Implement and maintain CIS benchmarks across Microsoft 365 security and configurations.
• Oversee patching, backup, DR planning, and vulnerability remediation.
