Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to elevate our defense‑in‑depth program across identity and endpoint security, threat detection, and response. You will own complex security initiatives, mentor engineers, and work with cross‑functional teams to reduce the attack surface.

The role is hands‑on, focusing on EDR/XDR deployment, identity security controls, SIEM integration, and proactive threat hunting within a Hybrid/Remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of hands-on enterprise security engineering, focusing on endpoints and identity.
• Hands-on with EDR, XDR, SIEM, CNAPP, CSPM, CWP, and OSI layer security.
• Threat hunting, digital forensics, and detection engineering with automation scripting.
• Familiarity with MITRE, NIST, and related security frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for security use cases.
• Experience owning complex security initiatives end-to-end with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as SSCP or Security+.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage EDR/XDR platforms and custom detections.
• Define endpoint and image hardening baselines and controls.
• Integrate endpoint telemetry into central analytics and SIEM.
• Lead identity security controls across workforce and privileged identities.
• Lead threat hunting engagements and purple-team exercises.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional security initiatives.
