Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and operate enterprise security controls across endpoints, networks, identity, cloud, and data. You will help maintain layered defense and drive improvements in visibility, detection, and resilience.

The role focuses on threat hunting, automation, and proactive security engineering, collaborating across teams to reduce risk and strengthen incident response. Remote/hybrid flexibility is offered with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise security concepts across network, endpoint, identity, cloud, and data security domains.
• Basic knowledge of industry standard benchmarks and frameworks (MITRE, NIST, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/automation language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for modern containerized services and security use cases.
• Experience investigating security alerts, incidents, or suspicious activity.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain security controls across perimeter, network, host, application, identity and data layers.
• Validate telemetry feeds central analytics platforms for 360-degree visibility and coverage.
• Monitor control effectiveness and improve detection capabilities and response.
• Investigate endpoint-based alerts and incidents from triage to containment.
• Develop and tune detection rules, correlation logic, and alerting use cases.
• Build and maintain SOAR workflows and automation to reduce dwell time.
• Contribute to threat hunting, exposure reduction, and risk-based remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and resilience.
• Participate in purple-team exercises and security assessments.
