Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking highly skilled engineers to design, deploy, and manage large-scale Windows Server environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. You will support multiple globally dispersed sites, implement DevOps practices, and ensure security and DISA STIG compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes Active Directory, DNS, and Windows Server administration with strong experience in deployment tools ( MDT, SCCM )

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance required to start.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification required to start.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server AD design and implementation.
• Experience with Group Policy Management.
• Experience with Windows DNS & DHCP.
• Experience with LDAP, AD FS, and AD Domains & Trusts.
• Experience with monitoring using System Center Operations Manager.
• Experience with MDT and SCCM deployment methodologies.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager or Forefront Identity Manager optional.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and Windows automation.
• Experience with AWS and VMware virtualization.
• Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow for work tasks.
• System hardening per DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture for on-premises and cloud hosting.
• Analyze requirements to develop system requirements and design plans.
• Administer, operate, manage and maintain on-premises and cloud systems.
• Review completion and enhancements and advise management/clients.
• Plan and direct upgrades to Windows Server infrastructure, AD, DNS, and related components.
• Apply authentication, permissions, access controls, and Group Policy.
