Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks highly experienced engineers to design, deploy, and administer large-scale Windows Server environments across on‑prem and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes AD/identity services, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and security hardening for multi‑domain enterprises.

You will support DevOps lifecycle, automation, and cross‑site collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The position requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, 10+ years in related roles, and expertise with deployment tools,

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start.
• CompTIA Security+ or similar IAT Level II 8570/8140 certification required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years related experience in enterprise Windows environments.
• Experience with AD design, GPOs, DNS and DHCP, LDAP, and ADFS.
• Knowledge of System Center, deployment tools, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with AWS or VMware in hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs security guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture with on-premises and cloud hosting.
• Analyze requirements and develop system specifications and design plans.
• Administer and maintain on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systems.
• Plan and direct upgrades of Windows Server infrastructure and AD topology.
• Implement security controls, monitoring, and deployment methods.
