Qualifications

• Extensive experience building low-latency, high-throughput services.
• Proven ability to define technical direction and drive architecture.
• Experience delivering large-scale production systems end-to-end.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.x/2.1, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, SCIM.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for authentication systems and lead complex initiatives from conception through delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership, product management, and cross-functional partners to define authentication for millions of users.
• Define architecture for the Identity squad’s authentication systems and edge redesign.
• Mentor senior engineers and provide design feedback.
• Drive alignment on OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, and SCIM across Grafana.
• Represent Grafana at meetups and conferences and contribute to the identity community.
