Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a motivated CAD Engineer for the Advanced Technology Group in Santa Clara. You will install, configure, and support foundry techfiles and debug tool errors for designers, while developing flows and scripts to raise productivity for global circuit designers.

A strong EE/CS background with ICV and Perl experience is required. You will work with Virtuoso, IC-Manage, DRC/LVS tools and new process techs, and contribute to a collaborative, world-wide team.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
MS preferred for seniority and depth.
Strong programming skills incl. Perl and Cadence SKILL.
Expertise with ICV to debug DRC/LVS techfiles.
Ability to add NVIDIA devices in LVS decks using ICV.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support foundry techfiles.
Debug design and techfile errors and explain root causes.
Develop flows and scripts to boost productivity.
Support CAD tools used by IC designers (Virtuoso, IC-Manage, DRC/LVS).
Collaborate with CAD tool vendors to improve bugs and usability.
Develop infrastructure for new process technologies.
Write scripts in Perl and Cadence SKILL.
