Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Senior Technology Systems Consultant to lead ICT design for landmark projects nationwide. You will work with clients, architects, and ME P engineers to develop system layouts, perform calculations, and coordinate across disciplines.

The role requires 7–10 years in AV/telecom/IT or security design across markets, with CAD/BIM proficiency and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design experience across markets like data centers, healthcare, aviation, sports and entertainment, corporate interiors, and education.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of active network systems and structured cabling design.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi network concepts and telephony design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit preferred.
• Certification such as P.E., ICT certification (PSP, CPP, CTS, CTS‑D, RCDD, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, PMP) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the design efforts on a wide range of projects with senior and supervising consultants.
• Perform calculations and layout highly technical spaces using CAD/BIM and appropriate software.
• Coordinate with other trades and internal/external teams under guidance of senior staff.
• Develop specifications, system narratives and layouts for varied project sizes.
• Conduct field inspections and assist in due diligence, feasibility, and reports.
• Assist in scheduling, budgeting, and manpower planning for projects.
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks including inspection reports.
