Job summary

The role involves coordinating with clients, architects, and MEP engineers, and designing systems for critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, and more.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in the field, proficiency with CAD/BIM tools, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design experience across varied markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of active network systems and structured cabling design.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi network design concepts and telephony design.

Responsibilities

• Support design efforts on a wide range of projects with senior consultants.
• Perform calculations and layout for technical spaces using CAD/BIM.
• Coordinate with other trades and internal/external teams under supervision.
• Prepare system design narratives, specifications, and drawings.
• Conduct field inspections to verify conditions and inform design work.
• Assist in scheduling, budgeting, and RFI/Change Order processing.
