Job summary

DLB Associates seeks a Senior Lead ICT Engineer to oversee full cycle ICT design for mission critical data center and smart building projects. Remote work from anywhere in the United States is supported, with the engineer coordinating design development and leading project teams.

The role emphasizes advanced ICT cabling design, AutoCAD/Revit usage, and strong client communication. You will drive QA/QC, mentorship, and continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of fiber optic components, cabling and interconnect products.
• Advanced knowledge in ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards.
• Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT Engineering Design Activities: Independently perform advanced engineering work and develop scalable fiber/copper plant designs.
• Lead Construction Activities: Survey conditions, prepare technical reports, manage design team and respond to RFIs.
• Business Development and Stakeholder Relations: Develop proposals with scope, schedule and budget; serve as client contact.
• Organizational Development: Mentor associates and contribute to training and standards development.
• Technology & AI-Enabled Efficiency: Identify opportunities to use AI and digital tools to improve workflows and project controls.
