Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an experienced Physical IC Design Engineer for the Data Center Solutions Group at our Colorado Springs campus. You will lead the physical design flow from RTL to tape-out and collaborate with RTL teams to optimize performance.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, TCL/Perl scripting, and proficiency with EDA tools. On-site work is required at Colorado Springs, with a strong emphasis on timing, power, and area optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Full physical design cycle: RTL to Tape-out.

Responsibilities

• Execute Physical Design, Synthesis, PV, and Timing Closure.
• Set up and synthesize RTL.
• Achieve timing closure using STA and related methods.
• Perform EM/IR analysis, Place and Route, Clock Tree Synthesis.
• Floor-planning and layout; collaborate with RTL engineers.
