Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in Digital/Custom IC or RF design or layout.
• Experience with Innovus-based and Virtuoso-based design environments.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• BSEE required; MS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements for IC design flows using Innovus/Virtuoso.
• Partner with customer CAD teams to optimize layout productivity and time-to-market.
• Drive AI-driven design automation and layout optimization.
• Translate customer pain points into actionable requirements for R&D.
• Provide technical leadership in methodology and flow development.
• Influence Cadence product direction and competitive replacements.
• Support executive discussions linking technical value to business outcomes.
