Job summary

Dexian seeks a senior Maximo Technical Lead to steer complex upgrade, migration, and modernization programs. You will direct architecture, configuration, and integration for Maximo 7.5/7.6 and MAS environments, including associated database upgrades and cloud/container initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define deployment plans, runbooks, and testing strategies while ensuring performance, security, and availability requirements are met. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM Maximo 7.5 and 7.6 in enterprise settings.
• Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite 9 and its architecture, deployment, integrations, and operational support.
• Advanced knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework and related integration tech.
• Proven track record leading upgrade, migration, re-platforming, or modernization projects.
• Experience migrating apps between infrastructure platforms (e.g., VMware to Hyper-V).
• Experience supporting Oracle database upgrades or migrations in enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Java-based apps, databases, middleware, and networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-system issues and lead incidents to resolution.
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in technical lead or solution-lead roles on large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, container platforms, and cloud-hosted enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multiple IBM Maximo upgrade, migration, and modernization projects.
• Serve as the lead technical resource for Maximo 7.5/7.6 and MAS environments.
• Lead architecture, configuration, customization, integration, deployment, and performance analysis for Maximo.
• Oversee re-platforming upgrades from Maximo 7.5 to 7.6 and infrastructure migrations (VMware to Hyper-V).
• Direct database migration activities (Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 or equivalent).
• Design technical solutions addressing security, performance, and availability requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot Maximo integrations and related components.
• Perform root-cause analysis of complex incidents across multiple layers and systems.
• Translate business requirements into concrete technical designs and deployment procedures.
• Produce architecture diagrams, configuration documents, and remediation plans.
