Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories, a leader in fashion, seeks a Sr Software Engineer to own design, development, and modernization of IBM iSeries applications. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing to deliver scalable, secure solutions that support core enterprise processes.

Proficiency in RPG, SQLRPGLE, DB2 for iSeries, and integration with APIs is required. Hybrid in-office schedule in Texas, with opportunities to mentor teammates and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in CS or IS.
• 5–10 years IBM i / AS400 development experience.
• Strong RPG IV, RPGLE, Free-Format RPG, CL, SQLRPGLE, DB2 for iSeries skills.
• Experience with Rational Developer, Git/Azure DevOps, APIs, EDI, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support IBM iSeries apps using RPG and SQLRPGLE.
• Modernize legacy RPG to free-format and service-programs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.
• Develop DB2 iSeries structures, SQL, stored procedures, and tuning.
• Integrate with internal/external systems via APIs, EDI, and web services.
