Lead IBM BAW/BPM Advanced Consultant
Perficient currently has an opportunity for a Lead IBM BAW/BPM Advanced Consultant in our Global Process Automation practice.
As a Lead BPM Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our clients. You will work with solution architects and developers to interpret wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
- Implement business processes using IBM BAW/BPM.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor, providing technical support and leadership in the development and continual improvement of services.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
- Demonstrate willingness and eagerness to learn new automation technologies and keep up with the latest technologies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 7+ years of experience with IBM BAW/BPM (19.x, 18.5.x) required; IBM BAW/BPM (22+) preferred.
- 7+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript.
- Solid experience using databases such as Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
- Experience with Process Modelling and understanding of IBM Playback methodology.
- Hands-on experience with UCAs, Coach Views, client-side and server-side coaches.
- IBM Advanced Integrations and knowledge of Service Component Architecture and IBM MQ Series.
- Experience with other BPM technologies like Activiti, jBPM, Camunda is a plus.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Skilled problem solvers with a desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.

- Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision makers.
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
The salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640, a U.S. multi-state nationwide range that is not adjusted for specific state differentials. Compensation decisions are dependent on a candidate’s unique qualifications and circumstances.
