Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior IBM InfoSphere MDM Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM, Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP services, data integration, and enterprise data governance in a large-scale financial services environment. This role involves end-to-end MDM development, customization, integration, production support, and performance optimization. The responsibilities and skill set align with IBM InfoSphere MDM enterprise development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain IBM InfoSphere MDM solutions for enterprise master data domains such as Customer, Account, Product, and Party.
• Configure MDM entities, relationships, business proxies, extension points, and transaction processing.
• Develop and enhance Match & Merge, Suspect Duplicate Processing (SDP), survivorship rules, and identity resolution workflows.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services for MDM integration with upstream and downstream applications.
• Develop Java/J2EE components, custom services, event handlers, and batch jobs within the IBM MDM framework.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data stewards, and integration teams to implement MDM requirements.
• Perform MDM data modeling, data validation, cleansing, and governance implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and support runbooks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience in enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM (Standard or Advanced Edition).
• Strong experience with:
• IBM Stewardship Center
• Match & Merge Rules
• Suspect Duplicate Processing (SDP)
• Business Proxies and Extension Framework
• Party, Account, Customer, and Product data models.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON.
• SQL experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines.

The required IBM MDM customization areas, Java integration, and stewardship capabilities are consistent with enterprise IBM MDM developer roles.

Preferred Skills

• Apache Kafka or JMS messaging integration.
• IBM QualityStage or DataStage exposure.
• Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Flowable or BPM workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications
