Job summary

There’s Only One Place is seeking a Sr. Technical Support Engineer- L4 for IBM i to lead customer projects on IBM i Power platforms.

You will ensure requirements are understood and met within defined timescales, coordinating with cloud provisioning teams and SDMs to streamline transition to service. Responsibilities include onsite installations, system migrations, providing clear updates to stakeholders, and acting as senior advisor for escalations.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in a technical support engineering role.
• IBM Power hardware installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with IBM i OS versions (V5R4 - V7R6) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Own project-related tasks and work with team to implement IBM i solutions.
• Deliver projects on time per customer requirements and onboarding timelines.
• Perform onsite installations of IBM Power servers; travel as required.
