Job summary

Experis, located in Charlotte, NC, seeks 3–4 Senior Middleware Integration Engineers with IBM ACE and IBM MQ expertise. The role supports a legacy Profile Deposits transition, with data transformation, API-led connectivity, and containerized deployments in OpenShift.

Hybrid onsite work is required, with W2 employment and a 6–12 month contract. The ideal candidates will implement real-time streaming using Kafka, optimize SQL/PL-SQL routines, and develop RESTful APIs within middleware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and supporting IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ message flows.
• Direct experience deploying and managing middleware within OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Strong hands-on experience integrating message flows with Kafka for real-time processing.
• Advanced SQL / PL-SQL development skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation routines.
• Proven track record building and consuming RESTful APIs within middleware architectures.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize IBM ACE message flows and IBM MQ queues while developing new integration channels.
• Lead data transformation and logic conversion to support migration from legacy Profile systems.
• Transition legacy file transfers into RESTful APIs and real-time streams using Kafka.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL queries for data validation and transformation; automate with shell scripts.
• Support middleware deployments in an OpenShift environment.
