Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise identity solutions across Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and other platforms.

You will architect secure authentication and authorization, implement best practices, and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency. You will lead IAM projects, onboard applications, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of IAM experience in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, standards, and best practices, incl. authentication, authorization, lifecycle mgmt and access governance.
Hands-on experience with SSO libraries and secure integration using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise IAM across Okta, Entra ID, and other platforms.
Design and implement SSO, MFA, Conditional Access policies.
Architect and deploy identity integrations (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP).
Manage Okta Lifecycle Management and Entra ID lifecycle provisioning and governance.
Develop IAM automation using Python and PowerShell; leverage CI/CD.
