Job summary

Berkley Technology Services (BTS) is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management. You will plan, architect, and execute IAM systems, acting as a liaison to vendors and leading projects to deliver secure, compliant solutions across hybrid cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on IAM implementation, scripting in PowerShell/EL, and strong collaboration with PMs and customer teams to meet security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IAM design, administration, and support.
• 3+ years of experience with Okta, Auth0, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, MFA, RBAC and fine-grained authorization.
• Ability to design IAM solutions aligned with Zero Trust and identity governance.
• Knowledge of GRC, ITIL, and regulatory compliance considerations.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementation of IAM systems, infrastructure, and related hardware/software.
• Lead IAM technology deployment projects such as Okta, Auth0, and Entra ID ensuring security standards.
• Develop policies and procedures to support system provisioning, maintenance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with vendors (Okta, Auth0, Microsoft) to resolve issues and drive deployments.
• Mentor and cross-train staff in IAM technologies and best practices.
• Document problems and resolutions for future reference and standards.
