Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management, to build and modernize authentication/authorization across healthcare tech platforms. You will migrate legacy systems to modern identity platforms (Okta), implement IaC with Terraform, and integrate identity into CI/CD pipelines.

You will design secure services and APIs, collaborate with security and product teams, and mentor engineers on identity patterns and secure development practices in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Hands-on identity, authentication, or security engineering experience (2+ years).
• Strong programming in Java, C#, Python, or similar OO language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure authentication and authorization capabilities (SSO, MFA, federation, provisioning).
• Migrate apps to modern identity platforms (Okta or comparable).
• Build identity infrastructure using Terraform/IaC with reusable patterns.
