Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Senior IAM Engineer to lead SailPoint configuration, integration, and onboarding at scale, driving provisioning and governance tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years configuring SailPoint IGA (IdentityNow or IdentityIQ).
• Ability to write clean PowerShell scripts and leverage AI assistants.
• Experience reading, writing, and editing JSON and XML configurations.
• Experience with JDBC, LDAP, AD, and REST/SCIM APIs.
• Understanding IAM RBAC, identity mapping, and governance lifecycles.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into tech configs.
• English at B2 level or higher.

We are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to lead the technical configuration and integration of applications into the SailPoint platform, driving a large-scale onboarding initiative and acting as the subject matter expert for provisioning, scripting, and troubleshooting across the identity governance landscape. Remote work according to German working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical configuration and end-to-end integration of target applications into the SailPoint platform
• Create and manage an application pipeline with more than 600 apps
• Design, test, and implement dynamic user-facing access request forms with smooth validation logic and optimal user experience
• Develop, optimize, and maintain PowerShell scripts using AI-acceleration tools to build custom connector rules
• Handle data aggregation and automate provisioning workflows
• Diagnose and resolve errors related to data aggregation, connectivity, API webhooks, and provisioning failures
• Map complex business permissions into structured SailPoint configurations
• Interface with application owners and business stakeholders during the onboarding process
• Report engagement progress and outcomes to the customer's Chief Security Officer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience configuring and administering SailPoint IGA solutions (IdentityNow or IdentityIQ)
• Proficiency in writing clean, reliable PowerShell scripts, with flexibility to use AI-assistants (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate script generation and debugging
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and editing JSON and XML configurations
• Practical experience with connector types including JDBC, LDAP, and Active Directory, as well as REST/SCIM APIs
• Understanding of IAM architecture, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), identity mapping, and core governance lifecycle frameworks
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical configurations
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, considered more critical than pure technical ability
• Familiarity with emerging IAM technologies and AI productivity tools, with the capability to showcase best practices to stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
