Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions. You will act as a technical expert, troubleshoot complex code, and build scalable IAM capabilities across lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and policy enforcement.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar platforms, Active Directory, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IAM engineering experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or a comparable identity governance platform.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ability to read, analyze, troubleshoot, and modify application or integration code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and support advanced IAM capabilities including lifecycle management, provisioning, SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC, access certification, and policy enforcement.
• Lead technical integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications, directories, cloud services, infrastructure, and security tools.
• Diagnose and resolve complex IAM engineering issues across code, data, APIs, connectors, workflows, and dependent systems.
• Create and enforce IAM engineering standards, procedures, deployment practices, and controls.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team; perform code reviews and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with security architects, application owners, developers, and risk partners to deliver end-to-end IAM solutions.
• Evaluate system performance, security, and reliability; implement improvements for faster delivery and better resilience.
