Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise identity and access management across systems. You will lead integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to future IAM architecture and roadmaps.

Responsibilities include creating runbooks, documentation, and testing plans while collaborating with security, applications, and infrastructure teams. The role requires hands-on IAM experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar platforms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 4–6 years of related IAM experience.
• Hands-on IAM engineering experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or comparable platform; AD and Entra ID; REST/SOAP APIs; scripting or software development; source control; testing; troubleshooting; and production support.
• Strong ability to work independently, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners, and deliver accurate work on schedule.
• Desirable: SailPoint IdentityIQ development using Java, BeanShell, connector/workflow development, Python, PowerShell, SQL, JSON/XML, CI/CD, cloud identity, PAM platforms, and healthcare/regulatory experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and support advanced IAM capabilities.
• Lead technical integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications, directories, cloud services, and security tools.
• Diagnose and resolve complex IAM engineering issues across code, configuration, data, APIs, connectors, and workflows.
• Create and enforce IAM engineering standards, procedures, deployment practices, and controls.
• Produce technical requirements, designs, test plans, and runbooks; provide clear documentation.
