Job summary

Comcast is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer to lead design and implementation of IAM solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will coordinate with Cybersecurity Operations, Development, and Risk teams to deploy secure systems and maintain documentation.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, leadership in IAM strategy, and building scalable Okta-based identity services with SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Hands-on expertise with Okta (SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Mgmt).
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC.
• Experience with hybrid architectures (cloud + on-prem).
• Working knowledge of AWS (VPC, networking, security).
• Experience with directory services (AD/LDAP) and federation.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and project experience across full life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal IAM expertise in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and design long-term objectives for the company's IAM strategy.
• Develop innovative solutions for IAM challenges in line with industry standards.
• Build and maintain IAM systems and infrastructure.

• Document and communicate IAM strategies and use cases to stakeholders.
