Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own authentication and authorization across SaaS, cloud, on-prem, and endpoints. You will architect scalable identity solutions, focusing on IAM, access requests, and access reviews with Okta and AD/365.

This onsite role in San Jose requires collaboration with IT, Security, and business teams to meet compliance for sensitive data including CUI, EAR, and ITAR. Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure and Google Workspace is valuable.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT experience.
Hands-on experience with Okta and identity management.
Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Experience with Google Workspace administration.
Experience managing identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access governance.
Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Own authentication across the organization, including SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints.
Architect and evolve Okta environment to fit needs in a fast-growing company.
Design authorization models with least-privilege provisioning.
Build and maintain access request workflows and access review systems.
Define and enforce access restrictions for CUI, EAR, ITAR data.
Administer and integrate identity across Okta, AD, Google Workspace, and MS 365.
Manage identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
