Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will design, build, and scale our IAM platform, shaping APIs, services, and tooling to ensure high availability and security in a fast, distributed cloud environment.

You will work across product, design, and TPM teams to drive architecture, performance, and reliability while promoting testable code, on-call readiness, and robust CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend experience in production systems.
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST/gRPC, and async messaging patterns.
• Observability best practices: logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting.
• Relational databases and SQL; automated testing and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-scale, low-latency distributed systems powering IAM services.
• Design APIs and backend services for IAM platform.
• Optimize performance for availability under unpredictable loads.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and TPMs to shape roadmap.
• Participate in on-call rotations and build automated monitoring tooling.
• Advocate for maintainable, tested code and thorough reviews.
• Contribute to a fast, agile development culture.
