Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer to lead design, configuration, and support of enterprise IAM systems securing critical applications. This role collaborates with security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to implement SSO, federation, and robust access controls.

You will mentor teammates, develop technical designs and documentation, and ensure successful delivery of IAM features across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting IAM solutions (5+ years).
• Hands-on with enterprise IAM platforms (IVIA, ISAM, Okta, ForgeRock, PingOne, etc.).
• Experience configuring vendor software for access management and SSO/federation.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to designs.
• Experience supporting testing, issue resolution, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead discussions and document decisions.
• Experience with vendor support processes and product docs.

Responsibilities

• Support design, configuration, enhancement, and support of enterprise IAM solutions with focus on vended platforms.
• Develop designs addressing complex access needs and security objectives.
• Configure IAM platforms for authentication, authorization, SSO, and federation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendor teams to deliver secure access management.
• Create functional designs addressing complex processes and integration needs.
• Plan, execute, and review module, integration, and system testing for features.
• Manage blockers, defects, and risks for features and stories.
• Review vendor release features and assess impact on platform capability.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge across teams.
• Develop and maintain technical and process documentation.
