Job summary

Covetrus is seeking a Lead IAM Engineer to own strategy, operations, and roadmap for enterprise IAM across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will drive automation, self‑service, and strong security posture while delivering cost savings.

This senior role reports to the Senior Director of IT and partners with IT, HR, Legal, and Compliance. You will lead IAM programs including SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, and directory services, design integrations (SCIM/LDAP), manage JML, and measure program health with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or security.
• 8+ years in information security or IT with 4+ years IAM focus.
• 3+ years as senior/lead technical contributor in IAM programs.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating IAM automation.
• Experience integrating HRIS with IAM for JML and provisioning.
• Audits support experience (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Plan and own IAM strategy, operations, and roadmap.
• Lead IAM design for SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, and directory services.
• Build automation and self-service across IAM processes.
• Integrate IAM with HRIS and downstream apps via SCIM/LDAP/API.
• Drive cost savings and operational efficiency with data-driven cases.
• Support audits and governance with evidence and narratives.
