Job summary

IDMWORKS is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to lead deployment and maintenance of identity and access management solutions across client environments. You will install, configure, and integrate IAM platforms while ensuring alignment with client processes and security requirements.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture support, testing, and knowledge transfer to client teams. Strong troubleshooting, SDLC discipline, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with IAM components: Identity Governance & Administration, Access Management, SSO/Federation, Privileged Access Management, & Enterprise Directories
• 4+ years of IAM administration/implementation experience
• 4+ years in security consulting, security administration, and/or IT
• Knowledge of Java, C#, or similar OO language
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of LDAP/AD and enterprise directories
• Knowledge of enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ServiceNow)
• Experience installing software on Windows and Unix
• Experience with XML, SPML/SOAP, Web Services
• Experience with web app servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS)

Responsibilities

• Engage in requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and propose solutions
• Assist with architecture and design of new IAM solutions
• Install, integrate, configure, and deploy IAM solutions
• Develop and perform testing for IAM solutions
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and client support
• Maintain multiple environments following SDLC best practices
• Troubleshoot and maintain IAM solutions including product support
• Stay current on IAM trends, tools, methods and best practices
• Communicate status with timely reporting and issue escalation
• Author technical documentation and collaborate in team settings
