Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks an experienced Senior IAM Solution Architect to provide architecture and technical leadership for an enterprise IAM separation initiative. You will evaluate current IAM environments, identify gaps, and deliver practical, implementation-ready solutions focusing on Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Senior/principal-level IAM engineering or solution architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deep knowledge of AD security groups and nested groups, identity synchronization, and group-based access.
• Experience supporting complex migrations or enterprise transformations.

Responsibilities

• Assess current IAM architectures, integrations, configurations, dependencies, and future-state access patterns.
• Identify gaps, security risks, and technical constraints; design current-state, transitional, and target-state IAM solutions.
• Produce implementation-ready architecture and technical documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot AD and Entra ID environments; validate security group configurations and synchronization flows.
• Design and validate hybrid identity, authentication, and authorization flows across environments.
• Collaborate with application owners and security teams to translate access requirements into IAM solutions.
• Develop cutover procedures, validation checks, and rollback plans.
