UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Senior Regulatory Analyst for the IACUC program. The role provides strategic oversight for compliance, manages the Semiannual Facility Inspection program (SAFI) and supports Post-Approval Monitoring (PAM) activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 5 years of related research experience with Bachelor's; 3 years with Master's.
• Master's Degree in science field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory guidance to research community on animal welfare regulations.
• Review complex research documents for ethical and regulatory issues.
• Approve protocols eligible for expedited or designated review where appropriate.
• Document decision-making per federal regulations in reviewer checklists and databases.
• Educate and train faculty and staff on protocol review processes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and compliance processes.
• Lead, coordinate, and evaluate IACUC program activities including inspections and PAM.
• Prepare reports for IACUC and Institutional Official; track follow-up actions.
