Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, implement, and govern enterprise IaC and configuration management across hybrid environments.

You will develop Ansible playbooks, Salt states, and automation artifacts, and ensure secure, compliant deployments at scale. You will collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and DevOps teams to automate provisioning, patching, and governance, while mentoring engineers in IaC best practices and driving operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on expertise with IaC and configuration management in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern IaC and configuration management frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, Salt states, and automation artifacts.
• Define and manage desired state across hybrid infrastructure environments.
