Job summary

General Dynamics Information Systems (GDIT) is seeking an Information Assurance Security Engineer to support a TS/SCI cleared intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO. The role requires 10+ years in data security administration and certification expertise to drive RMF and policy development.

The incumbent will lead security design reviews, coordinate across agencies, and manage incidents, audits, and training to maintain robust information security across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in data security administration.
• Experience in writing security policy drafts and RMF processes.
• CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as representative of the IS Security Manager ensuring compliance with IS security procedures.
• Support ops to maintain and dispose of information system materials per security directives.
• Generate and implement requisite security training to ensure user awareness.
• Initiate protective and corrective measures when incidents or vulnerabilities are discovered.
• Ensure IA hardware/software complies with security configuration guides.
• Perform Operations & Sustainment for network security infrastructure (firewalls, gateways, IDS, load balancers).
