Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support customer activities in McLean, VA. You will help ensure security across RMF, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and cloud environments, coordinating with engineering, development and testing teams to implement proper security measures in complex enterprise systems.

A TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in information security.
• Strong technical skills and risk management experience.
• Experience with cloud security environments.
• Translate systems/security into test plans and mitigations.
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies.
• Experience communicating vulnerability results to executives.

Responsibilities

• Work with program security team to provide all aspects of security.
• Provide expert-level knowledge of RMF and NIST SP 800-53 systems through A&A.
• Create security documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and BOE artifacts.
