Job summary

Cabot Corporation seeks a Maintenance Electrician to perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance on chemical process equipment. You will work with the maintenance planner, update CMMS records, and support safe shutdowns and plant upgrades.

Ideal candidates bring HNC in Instrumentation or equivalent, experience in chemical or allied industries, and multi-skilled training. The role requires collaboration with engineers, operators and contractors on site.

Qualifications

• HNC in Instrumentation and/or control engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in related industry, chemical or allied industries.
• Completed necessary multi-skilled training to basic levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and troubleshoots electrical and instrumentation on process equipment.
• Performs planned and preventative maintenance per CMMS or site planning.
• Supports isolation, safety permits and safe working practices.
• Reviews drawings and data sheets to aid troubleshooting.
• Supervises contractors during shutdowns to ensure safety and quality.
