Job summary

Sable Offshore Corp in Goleta, CA is seeking an on-site instrument and electrical technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment across instrumentation, electrical systems, and automation on field sites.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years in the oil field, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to work both in teams and independently, including 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years in the oil field preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and repair of instrumentation (including control valves, regulators, flow meters, protective safety devices, pneumatic controllers, valve positioners, PSV’s, etc.).
• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical devices and systems up to 66kV (including transmitters, industrial batteries, UPS systems, motors, generators, switchgear, circuit breakers, relays, transformers, lighting circuits, etc.).
• Inspect, maintain, and repair analyzers.
• Perform repairs on radio and microwave sites, including emergency generators and associated equipment
• Assist engineering with projects and other system upgrades
• Maybe required to train and assist less experienced technicians as needed
• May be required to perform other job duties outside your discipline
