Job summary

ECI Group seeks an onsite Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance Planner for an 18–24 month program in the New Orleans (Waggaman) area. The role focuses on daily I&E work planning, material coordination, and driving planning process improvements to ensure safe, efficient maintenance execution.

Qualified candidates will have strong SAP planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to estimate craft hours and material costs.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as an I&E maintenance technician/specialist and 3 years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in manufacturing.
Experience with SAP for work order planning and maintenance.
Ability to read engineering drawings and estimate craft hours and materials.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed work packages and plans with equipment, parts, and tools for scheduled maintenance.
Plan all maintenance work orders in SAP, determining steps, parts, and personnel.
Review drawings and ensure work orders are clearly defined and authorized.
Develop estimates for craft hours, labor, and material costs.
Maintain safety considerations in work packages and align with procedures.
Manage materials lists and staging plans for job kits.
Maintain backlog and communicate status to supervisors and coordinators.
Review completed orders for variances against plan and improve processes.
Maintain BOM accuracy in SAP and coordinate with procurement for spare parts.
