Job summary

Slater Infrastructure Group is seeking a Sr. I&C Technician to join our instrumentation and control team in the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and reliability of control systems within water and wastewater facilities, supporting safety and uptime across operations.

You will install, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation, read schematics, troubleshoot sensors, and collaborate with engineering and operations to enhance system performance.

Qualifications

• Low Voltage License a must.
• One year of experience in instrumentation within the water and wastewater industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair control systems and mechanical instrumentation.
• Calibrate Instrumentation equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
• Calibrating examples -Low pressure, Flow meters, and other plant meters.
• P.H. Verifying.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to sensors, detectors, and system controls.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance on all instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to improve systems efficiencies.
• Document processes and maintain records to compliance and analysis.
• Helping the team with river checks and other duties as assigned.
