Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an I&C Project Engineer for the Surry Digital I&C Program at Surry Nuclear Station in Surry, VA. The role involves upgrading analog systems to digital tech and working with cross-functional teams to evaluate plant modifications.

Responsibilities include design decisions, reviews, risk analyses, and coordination with suppliers and stakeholders to support testing and approvals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of I&C design engineering experience in a power generating station, nuclear background.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with nuclear protection systems and RTS/ESFAS.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety system I&C architecture decisions and conceptual designs.
• Review and prepare design packages, specs, calculations, and hazard analyses.
• Oversee contracted engineering work ensuring compliance with industry standards.
