Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an experienced I&C Engineering Lead for gas-fired power generation EPC projects. You will direct I&C scope from design through commissioning, coordinating across disciplines, vendors, and construction teams to deliver safe, reliable electrical solutions.

The role requires a strong background in control systems for large plants, with emphasis on qualification, scheduling, and cost-effective execution in a global marketplace.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree; 10+ years of work-related experience.
• EPC Design experience for power projects.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Professional registration/technical society membership preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards, and material costs.
• Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting.
• Experience in leading large projects.
• Project setup, scheduling, progress reporting, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C engineering scope from development through startup.
• Coordinate I&C design across multiple disciplines and teams.
• Develop and review control system specifications and design criteria.
• Review estimates, schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Develop I/O lists and cable schedules; create IFC drawings.
• Mentor junior engineers and support construction and commissioning.
