Job summary
Advanced Integration & Controls, a subsidiary of Lyles Construction Group, is seeking an I&C Engineer III in Sacramento to lead and support automation system design and field execution for water and wastewater projects.
The role involves selecting instrumentation, creating wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget while coordinating with Project Management, Production, and Field Services, and supporting startup and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/controls/industrial/computer engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in design analysis of automation systems.
- Proficient with PLCs and SCADA; NEC/OSHA knowledge.
- PE license and ISA certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineering design and documentation for automation systems.
- Develop wiring diagrams, panels, MCCs, switchgear.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across PM, Production, Purchasing, Field Services.
- Review customer specs to ensure on-budget, on-time delivery.
- Provide field support during startup and commissioning.
