Job summary

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Instrumentation & I&C Engineer to support our client in Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on design, build and testing of I&C systems to meet design requirements, onsite in Oak Ridge.

The position requires 8+ years in I&C development, ABET‑accredited engineering education, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain security clearance. Comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited engineering degree required.
• 8+ years in instrumentation and control system development.
• Experience with nuclear instrumentation and control systems preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• I&C design for process systems including controls, instrumentation, data collection, automation and robotics.
• Collaborate with system, mechanical engineers, designers and analysts on detailed design.
• Support PFDs and P&IDs development.
• Develop control logic narratives, diagrams and PLC/DCS code.
• Create HMI screens and panel wiring diagrams.
• Interface with other workgroups to resolve I&C design issues.
