SSOE Group's Advanced Technology division seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead the design and coordination of I&C systems for cleanroom, fab, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

You will develop complete I&C design packages, coordinate PLC/DCS architectures, review P&IDs, perform calculations, and mentor junior staff while supporting startup and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering design technology, drafting, or a related technical field.
• Fifteen years of instrumentation and controls design experience in industrial or semiconductor facilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with familiarity in Navisworks for model coordination.
• Strong knowledge of PLC and DCS architectures, control panels, and field instrumentation.

Responsabilités

• Independently produce complete instrumentation and controls design packages for semiconductor and advanced technology facilities.
• Develop and coordinate control system architectures for PLC and DCS-based systems.
• Interpret and incorporate P&IDs, one-line diagrams, and process flow diagrams into design deliverables.
• Prepare control narratives, sequences of operations, and cause-and-effect matrices for various systems.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines using AutoCAD and Revit; maintain design alignment.
