Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an I&C Design Engineer to provide design engineering staff augmentation for SRNS. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, design development, and output documents such as P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, instrument specifications, and vendor reviews.

The candidate should hold a Ph.D. or MS/BS with extensive experience in I&C design within nuclear or process chemical industries and be proficient with MicroStation 2D CAD.

Qualifications

• Ten years of direct I&C design experience in nuclear or process chemical industries (within last 15 years).
• Experience with process control instrumentation, PLCs and distributed control systems.
• Proficiency in MicroStation 2D CAD.
• Able to perform weekly field walk downs at job site.

Responsibilities

• Provide design engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS.
• Generate design output documents: P&IDs; Control Logics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS/PLC Design; Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; Vendor Document Review.
