Job summary

HydroExcavators, LLC is seeking a field-based operator for hydro-vacuum excavation and related tasks in the United States. The role focuses on operating a hydro-vacuum system, performing non-destructive excavation around underground utilities, and supporting project sites with safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent with OSHA-10, CDL-A or CDL-B with Tanker endorsement, and the ability to travel out of town or state as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card certification is required.
• CDL-A or CDL-B driver’s license with Tanker endorsement and no restrictions.
• If OSHA10 not held, hydro Excavators, LLC will fund online training within 5 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system for non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables.
• Document all required Company, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork in a clear and legible manner.
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed.
• Travel out of town and out of state for work assignments.
• Lift, push, pull 60+ pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Maintain safety by following policies and participate in safety meetings.
• Navigate field tool applications and work flexible hours.
