Job summary

HydroExcavators, LLC is seeking a field operator to perform hydro-vacuum work at various sites. Seventy percent of duties involve operating the on-board system outside the truck for non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables.

Responsibilities include safety documentation, direct supervision of staff, occasional heavy lifting, and travel. Requires CDL with Tanker endorsement, OSHA10, and a high school diploma; employer offers competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card certification is required.
• If OSHA10 is not held, company will pay for online training within 5 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system for non-destructive excavation at job sites.
• Document all company, federal, state, and customer paperwork clearly and timely.
• Lead and direct subordinates to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Travel to out-of-town or out-of-state job sites; lift 60+ pounds and handle heavy equipment.
• Maintain flexibility in hours and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
