Job summary
ASARCO LLC is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead mining dewatering, groundwater management, and hydrogeological monitoring to support safe, efficient mining operations. This role provides technical leadership across planning, environmental, and operations teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in hydrogeology, geology, hydrology or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional registration (PG/RG) preferred or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Lead mine dewatering and groundwater management programs.
- Design, construct, and commission dewatering wells and monitoring infrastructure.
- Lead weekly dewatering and water management meetings with stakeholders.
- Develop and calibrate groundwater flow and water balance models.
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory documents.
- Manage consultants and contractors; oversee budgets for hydrogeological programs.
- Mentor junior staff and support permitting and regulatory activities.
